Thanks, SS. I may just try that moon+reader, just to see how it goes. My only complaint with Freda is that it keeps inadvertently flipping pages on me, probably my fault from inexperience, but thought I'd try another just to see how it goes.

Attached is part 1 of chapter three. Run time of 22.24 (if interested, some are, some aren't). I'll soon be starting on the second part of the chapter.

I as the MC am very interested. Having run times in the MW to compare with the files at cataloging time is a first line of defense against a cataloging error (wrong file, corrupted file).
I wish all BCs were diligent in adding them to the MW.

Attached is the second part of Chapter three. I hope it's OK, checker says it is, with warnings. so I guess I'll consider myself warned! (I somehow got 'biased' - don't ask!) Let me know if there is any problem with it.

Wow thanks for recording them so soon!!! I've updated the information but since we don't have a dpl for this project as of now, it may take a while for someone to check the audios. I'll try to do it myself if I get the time. Thanks a lot!

I'd like to sign up for parts 10-13 (Chapter 4). Funny, but part 2 of chapter 3 swerved so hard away from young Anna that I thought I was in the wrong place! "Oh, dang, I must've inadvertently pressed the 'next chapter' button in my reader, this is entirely different". But no, I carefully paged back, and I was in the right spot. I guess old D.H. just wanted to talk about something else for a while. So I'll try the next chapter, see if he gets back to the young girl's adventures.
Thanks, Brize

Sure, that's wonderful!!!Thank you so much for claiming them. Yeah Lawrence can be a bit frustrating sometimes when he makes you wait and wait for something to happen.

Thank you so much Moira. I'm afraid that we don't have a dpl at the moment so please excuse us if it takes a while for the audio to be checked,

Section 10 (Chapter 4, part 1 enclosed). I'm not sure what our standards are for foreign languages, but I'm woefully mono-linguistic myself and did not get much response in the 'help, other languages' thread for Latin. I DID find a u-tube Latin recitation of a similar enough prayer, practiced it a bit, and went for it, but...a listener with a Latin mother tongue, or probably even Italian or Spanish is going to know that I'm Anglo and don't converse in Latin very often. Let me know if it's too lacking. (I didn't even try to roll the 'r's')

Thanks, Brize

Generally, for little quotes in a different language, we say to do the best you can. 99% of the time, if you say it with confidence, the reader won't know the difference.
