That song must have taken a while to record! It sounds great hearing all of the different voices in there though!

Oh, thank you Penguin. I wanted to convey the impression of a full, merry, tavern, without muddling the words beyond recognition.

I asked my daughter to come up with a tune -- couldn't find an historical one online, and she's been into sea shanties longer than the current trend. The fun part was trying to perform it in the different character voices. The hard part was timing it to the original track. I ended up doing "Pretty Poll" in an entirely separate multi-track file, and porting it in.

If I'd had the sense to do this when my whole family was visiting, it would have been much easier.
