Can you just list me as Brian 3553?

Real name is Brian Smith.
Okay, I've assigned this to you.
Just click on your name in the Magic Window to view your catalog page. This is where you can track all of your LibriVox projects, of which I hope there will be many.

I realize now I made a mistake. I was referring to the chapter numbers in the book and not the section numbers. The sections I actually would like to claim are 22 and 23. You can tell I haven't been on here in a while. My apologies.

It does get confusing when we divide chapters so the Section numbers don't match.
Anyway, I've made the above corrections and look forward to your recordings. :)

I've looked through the two chapters and I've found some names that I'm not sure how to pronounce. I'll list them here.

Tillamook
Umpqua
Santiam
Yaquina
Multnomah
Umatilla
Alsea
Coquille
Nehalem
Siletz
Ochico
Malheur

I think that's it. Also, in one of the chapters there is a table which looks like this:

Year. Cases. Year. Cases.
1871 35,000 1876 429,000
1872 44,000 1877 393,000
1873 103,000 1878 412,924
1874 244,000 1879 440,000
1875 291,000 1880 540,000

I don't know whether I should read that or just skip over it.

I apologize for being delayed in recording a pronunciation guide for this project. Got started and then interrupted. If you can hang tight for a bit, I'll get it done real soon. These are all familiar place names, but strange if you're not from Oregon

Please do read that table. Keep in mind that it has to make sense to the listener, so I find the bast way to read these is:

1871 35,000 cases. 1872 44,000 cases, etc on through to 1880 540,000 cases at the end of the list.
