Section 12 PL Notes Jodie, very well read and I think technically perfect. Just one issue - Oregon is pronounced to rhyme with Horrigan. You can hear it here https://howjsay.com/search?word=oregon

There were a couple of other mispronounced names or words, not too important, but I think since this is the title word you might want to correct it. Oregonians are a little sensitive on the subject.

RE: Section 12 PL notes

I'll correct the Oregon/Horrnigan issue and resubmit.

I'm thinking of taking another chapter. What little words were mispronounced? So I don't do it again ...

Thanks,
Jody

Section 12 PL Notes - Here are the other incorrect pronunciations of the impossible words in chapter 10 - about 0:30 Siletz sill LETS, and again at 4:41
about 3:00 Yaquina short i like the way you pronounce it at 3:24 and and 3:55 :!:
also the word sowed (16:09) when used to mean --through around seeds is pronounced like sewed or silent w.

It is pretty much impossible to know - there is no reason -Indian words spelled by a Scott's man, and modified by who knows through the years.

Here is a help for some of the place names https://oregonspeak.com

Thanks

Thanks for working on this.
We do need, however, for this to be uploaded again with the correct file name:
https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/twoyearsinoregon_10_nash_128kb.mp3

Then post that here with the file length and we'll check it again.

Hello,

I have section 3 under my name and I ran into some equipment problems recently. I am very close to completing the read however, would it be possible to have an extension for this reading in order for me to sort things out on my end ? I am expecting some new equipment this week (or next, depending) ?

Please let me know.

Thank you very much.
