No you are PL OK! As far as the settings changing, it happens for some strange reason every once in a while. It happened to me after recording for 3 or 4 years. Suddenly I was recording in stereo, and the DPL caught it, thankfully. I now check every one of my recordings with the Checker program, just to make sure it doesn't happen again.
