Here is Psalm 27. Sorry about the time it took me to do it. There were some clunky words like createdst. What??? Anywho, I had some mistakes and I re-recorded those sentences. I hope the edits are not too noticeable. Time is 54:48. Thank you!

Hi--I can claim the last one--Section 36 "Psalm 34: Discourse the Second"--but I have a question. The chapter is quite lengthy. I have read through it, and I suspect that I might not be able to get it completed within the 72 minute limit. Maybe I can do it in 72 minutes, but if not, then could I possibly upload the chapter in two separate tracks? Like: psalms1_36a_augustine_128kb.mp3 and then psalms1_36b_augustine_128kb.mp3. And then maybe adjustments could be made to the Track #'s when being catalogued? Or some other way??

I would aim for just one track, but it's quite a lot of dense text (for me, anyway). If you would prefer to wait for a different person who is a speedier reader than me, then that is totally fine. No problem. :)
Kind regards,
Lucretia

Yes, I fully expect it to be quite long. I don't want to break it up unless we absolutely have to, though. You're right that I could re-number other sections if need be, but I want to avoid that. I believe that we already had another section submitted with an even higher page count, and it barely squeaked by in under 72 minutes. And actually, I had to "cheat" a little and speed it up just a touch. If need be, I can do the same thing to yours, but let's not borrow trouble. Best to find out how long it comes to, and then make a decision.

Thanks for claiming!

mightyfelix,

Correction: The Sec. 29 file is 49 min., not 40.

I, too, am sorry. I didn't put this in the MW when you submitted it and only just now stumbled on your post. It's now in the MW ready for PL! :D

Thank you, Mark! This is in the MW.

By the way, when stating the runtime, it's best to include minutes and seconds (and not necessary to state the file size). It helps us to be sure that no part of the recording got cut off during uploading or anything like that. I have 49:03. Does that sound right?

I'm struggling a bit in getting the length of Section 31 down. I'm still 10 minutes over. :(
I'll go through it another couple of times and see what I get edit out, but it may need to be speeded up a bit.
(I recorded it over two sessions and I do seem to have spoken a lot more slowly in the second session! :| )

No problem. I appreciate your trying. If you'd like, you can upload what you have, and I'll tinker with it as well. If I'm not mistaken, all it would need is a change of 3% for the speed. Shouldn't be at all noticeable.

Hi Devorah--Here is my Section 36:

https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/psalms1_36_augustine_128kb.mp3
1:11:38

I have never speeded up any of my recordings to this extent before, but I did get it under the 72-minute limit for you. Let me know if it sounds weird or unnatural or unacceptable to be galloping along at such a pace. I'm not sure if I can tell at this point, but I do hope that it will be all right. Have a good evening (well, actually, have a good morning! :) )
Kind regards,
Lucretia
