For the preface: The dB levels are higher and the file is a constant bit rate of 128 kbps
Here are the original PL notes for the Preface:

Friend, I'm an old man who doesn't follow things as quickly as I once did. I'm assuming that your last update was to the Magic Window and that it is Section 0 (Zero).

That being the case, the volume is fine. However, the recording needs no more than one second of silence at its opening (some people say 1/2 second is ideal) and at least five seconds of silence at its close.

Your recording sounds a bit hollow to me. Nothing terribly distracting, but I noticed that you have segments of true silence in your recording and, in your pauses, a faint jumble of the sound wave. Might you be using a voice-activated microphone?
Sunday is a good PL day for me.

Generated silence is not a good plan with audiobooks. It generates a ‘dead’ silence which is always difficult on the ears. Ambient noise is always best even I’d ir needs to be noise-cleaned..

Chapter 1 is PL OK! though I would ask you to be precise in having between .5 and 1 second of silence at the opening and 5 seconds of silence at the close.

You might want to review the recording at 1:50 where your volume drops in comparison with what proceeds it. It's not a big deal, but it's the kind of thing many would correct. Using the ReplayGain effect is useful for this.

You've reduced the volume to just below the acceptable level. Also, please see that there is no more than 1 second of silence at the opening. I use the generate silence function to lay in a second of pure silence at the beginning of most all my recordings. The close is fine.

Okay. You would then mark the section as Ready for Spot Check. And please do not remove my notes. They are there for a reason.

Chapter 1 requires a constant bit rate of 128 kbps. I'll have a listen when that is corrected.
Kevin,
If you don't want to wait on PLing for technical changes to be made it's ok to simply add them to the PL notes.

Time of 16:44. Volume too low by about 3dB.

A nice reading, though you've got some spikes of volume that will get a bit worse when you amplify. You might want to address the spikes individually.

The entire track should be raised by 3dB?

Yes, though see above. It's the strangest thing to me looking at your sound wave. One doesn't expect these spikes unless you were to move toward the mic or modulate your voice that much.

Oh, and I just noticed that you've changed the wording of your files by a character. It will be helpful if you were to keep the names uniform,
