Collected Papers on Analytical Psychology by Carl Gustav Jung (1875 - 1961). Translated by Constance Ellen Long (1867 - 1923)

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/collected-papers-on-analytical-psychology-by-carl-gustav-jung/

Volunteers outside the USA: Carl Gustav Jung died in 1961. The author's work is still protected by copyright in places like Europe, where copyright is author's death plus 70 years, Australia (author's death plus 70 years for authors who died after 1955), UNLESS the rule of shorter term applies.
A collection of classical writings of Swiss psychologist Carl G. Jung, an influential thinker and the founder of analytical psychology. Written at intervals over a span of fourteen years, these selected articles and pamphlets contain many fascinating ideas that have become widely accepted psychological concepts nowadays, but had just started to develop at the time when the book was written. For instance, this is where Dr. Jung's ideas of introversion and extroversion, a contribution of vital importance to psychology, appeared for the very first time. Other topics explored include the concept of the unconscious, the study of psychological types, and the psychology of dreams. (Cao Yuqing)
    1. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you would like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.
    2. New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!
    3. Is there a deadline? We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen. Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
    4. Where do I find the text? Source text (please only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/48225
    5. Please claim sections (the numbers in the first column below)! If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.

Prospective Prooflisteners: Please read the Listeners Wanted FAQ before listening! Level of prooflistening requested: standard

You should now have access to the MW. I shortened the filename a bit and took out the information on adding tags. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you very much!

Could you help me delete sections 43-49, please? I just realised the text doesn't actually require this many sections.
That aside, the MW is all set now.

I've also added notes on how to deal with non-text elements. Do you have any other suggestions on that?
Cheers,
Yuqing :D

It all looks good. I moved your note up. I think it will more likely be seen there. If you would rather it could also be placed further up after the link to the text.

We will stay here a day or two and see if a DPL comes along.

I LOVE Carl Jung! His Man and His Symbols was a cathartic read for me. Could I take sections 3 and 4?

Welcome to the LibriVox family, Suienish! I'm so glad to be the first book coordinator you'll work with.

Before I can add you to our Magic Window for section 1, though, I'll need your preferred "Display Name" on your own LibriVox page - a standard procedure for any reader new to LibriVox. This can be different from your username here in the forum.
Feel free to tell us your personal website so that we can put a link there, too!
Cheers,
Yuqing :D
