What a pleasure to listen to your sections, and welcome to LibriVox! I have a couple of recommendations for you ("PL notes"). First of all, I noticed that both of your recordings have a high level of background noise. You can use the noise cleaning feature in Audacity to eliminate this noise. There are written instructions in the LibriVox wiki here. Or, if you prefer, you can watch Phil's video here. Do not reduce the noise by more than 18 dB as the post-processing will distort your voice. Also, the next time you record, make sure that you turn off everything you can hear before you start reading (fans, etc.) to eliminate the need for noise reduction.
Second, Section 40 needs an additional second of noise at the end of the recording. 5 full seconds of silence is required at the end of every recording to avoid the potential that any reading will get cut off when the recording is downloaded onto mobile devices by listeners.
Please make the above corrections and re-upload. Thanks so much!
Thanks, Alan! There's a missing line in your file that belongs around 0:45. It can be found on page 87 and goes "I will continue the search with you."alanmapstone wrote: ↑August 3rd, 2020, 9:04 am Section 54 - Uncle

Sections 45, 46, and 47 are PL OK. Section 48 has a missing paragraph (bolded) at 02:41:shreyasethi wrote: ↑August 12th, 2020, 3:45 am Hi!!!

Also, there is a repeat at 04:28 ("in contrast to the crudeness" x2).Changing the subject of a picture, i. e. the visible filling up, so far as it is unimportant.
Knowledge of forms, i. e. the filling up, so far as it is important.
Learning to analyze.
Both are PL OK, thanks for your patience!shreyasethi wrote: ↑August 15th, 2020, 12:57 pm Hi!!!!
