Duration is 06:15 https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/essaysonart_02_goethe_128kb.mp3

Thanks!
good morning,

i have to ask back: did you record the whole section anew?
or did you edit the last seconds of silence of the recording, only?

thx for your answer!

cheers,
I simply copied and pasted from the silence I did have at the end of the previous version, made sure it was 5 seconds total, and then remixed and recreated the file. :D

it makes a difference: wether our dpl as to pl the whole file again, there are new mistakes possibly, ... or if a spot pl is counting the seconds of silence at the end of the file.
so, this time i ask back for a last time, to be sure :-) : nothing new or changed but the seconds at the end of the file?

thank you for your answer!

heyho shreya,

welcome to essays on art by goethe :-)

i saw, that your one minute test is posted, already - i'm busy right now and cannot pl it, i'm sorry.
but i am sure, someone else will answer your test!

i will assign the section to you!
meanwhile, please tell me, what cataolgue name you want me to enter for you :-)
reader name on the catalogue page should be the name you want to publish and mention in the recordings (if you wish so):
- every reader gets a catalogue page.
- your catalogue name can be an alias, your forum name or your real name (or something else) (if you want to read a name in the recordings, it should be the catalogue name)
- it even offers some additional functionalities (for yourself, as a reader) and an overview over your claims, eg.
- we can publish a link to a homepage or a blog, if existing and you wish so

--> please tell me your name in the catalogue (with punctuation) and the link

thank you for your interest into contributing to the public domai and goethe on arts :-)

greetings from austria,

Hi Austria,

Thank you so much for the opportunity!!! I'd like to use Shreya Sethi as my name in the catalogue and I do not wish to share any link as of right now.
Also, I wanted to ask what role I had to read since in the roles mentioned in the list, I haven't been mentioned. I'm so glad that you have assigned this section to me, I won't let you down.

Thanks
Shreya

in general: you can claim the role you want, shreya!
here: all roles of section 21 are claimed, already.
free are for the play in section 16: guest, uncle

your reader page is here:
https://librivox.org/reader/14424
adding a link or other changes can be done by a mc - please post in the help subforum, in case the need to do so appears!

so, at the moment, i am waiting for your claim :-D

Hi!
I would love to claim another section but I think the role of uncle will be better suited to a male hehe. How about I record The Collector and his Friends - Letter 7 Part 1 (number 17) instead?

thanks,
Shreya

hi shreya,

it is your decision! i don't want to demand gender-appropriate readers.
most of the plays are gender-neutral, also to ease te claiing processs for new readers :-)

nonetheless, 17 is assigned to you!

:D

thank you!
and good evening!
