Thank you
Oh, I forgot to say that there is a typo in the MW. The title is 'More Handling' rather than 'Hardling.'

Greetings -

Just a couple of things keeping Chapter 36 from being totally PL OK.

TIME: 01:59 TEXT: "where I come from, beaten twenty ways. Could I have just one" Reading has the word "two" instead of "twenty".

TIME: 03:19 TEXT: "Oh, I ain't lookin' so young," she smiled, greatly pleased." Reading omits the word "lookin".

Howdy from Texas!

I'd like to do

33 Hark! The Conquering Hero Comes Back Open
34 Pee-Wee Holds Forth Open
35 Scoutmaster Ned Doesn't See Open

Boys' Life fan from way back. Hadn't seen these books. Happy dance!
Bill

How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

I'd like to do 30, 31, and 32 if that's ok.

Also, hello! I'm new to LibriVox and this will be my first attempt at volunteering for a reading. I should probably mention that I haven't gotten any feedback on my 1-minute test yet, but I'm excited to jump in to something fun!

Welcome to Librivox! Thank you for claiming. I have added you to our catalog of readers using your forum name. If you click on your name in the Magic Window, you will be able to see what you have signed up for... a good way to keep track.
This is a great project to “cut your teeth” on, as the chapters are short and fairly simple to read. Please wait until you get the OK on your test and be sure to read the first post... but don’t be afraid to ask if you have questions.
