[COMPLETE] [Fictional War Biography] Lay Down Your Arms by Bertha von Suttner - tg
Ahh - yeah - my husband works in the health industry, and actually has a higher load of work-hours, now. So here I sit, home-bound on my own. Getting lots of quilting and LV work done!

for all readers: i added to the pl level in the first post and beg for your understanding!
Level of prooflistening requested: special = standard+read along
as long as i make the pl: special - i read along, because english is a foreign language for me. i write pl notes in case of missing sentences, words or paragraphs, eg.
cheers

Apologies that I still haven't uploaded anything yet. I will have all of my parts up here soon.
hi minnie,MinnieMinford wrote: ↑March 26th, 2020, 4:42 pm Apologies that I still haven't uploaded anything yet. I will have all of my parts up here soon.
please: no need to hurry or to bulk upload!
in the beginnings of my projects, i have no problem to wait a bit longer - even after i asked back!
and bulk uploading: it is more a matter of your taste and likings, than to mine.
on the contrary: when several sections are to pl, i cannot guarantee, that i am able to pl them all at once!
and i don't know, if you are ok with that..
so, thx for your feedback! i am happy that you want to contribute, still!
and i am looking forward to your sections!
cheers,

wow what a section.
i'm really impressed, your accent, your character interpretation, mesmerizing..and so fast!
and all in all, a funeral scenery... i had no trouble, was able to understand everything and even got the feels - thank you
i have 2 pl notes, which i hope, are fast to solve:
- the average volume of your recording is 92,8 dB - we aim for 89 db with a range of +-3db, so this file is too high in volume and should be amplified for -3,8 db
- after doing so, there is a part in the recording, which is a little bit low in volume: minute 5-6, approximately.
i suggest marking this part, amplifying it with a value of +3 db.
that is to say, maybe some audacity tools like the compressor can be of help. what i know, files with varying volume are very easy to edit in one go with that. but i honestly never used it, so i have to hint to phils videos for that!
thank you for the recording, minnie - and please, don't get frustrated by this pl note.
it was a pleasure to listen to your recording an i needed some minutes to get back to my pl...
cheers,
@all readers: this book changed the world a little bit, was the lifetime work of a nobel peace prize winner - and it is highly emotional (at least for me).
so: a big thank you to all readers here, who are willing to deal with that.

hi cindy,
welcome to this project!
thank you so much for your claim
i assigned the section to you and i saw, you don't have a catalogue-profile yet:
- please tell me the name you want to pulish in the catalogue (and mention in the recordings, if you wish so)
- your catalogue name can be an alias, your forum name or your real name (or something else)
- every reader gets a catalogue page.
- it evenoffers some additional functionalities for yourself and an overview over your claims, eg.
- we can publish a link to a homepage or a blog, if existing and you wish so
--> please tell me your name in the catalogue (with punctuation) and the link
thank you cindy - and greetings from tyrol!
cheers.
cheers
