and here is 76. Not sure how I overlooked that. The fixed error is now at 9:46.

An honour to work on this project. I've been a peace activist life-long, and taught the how of it for decades to young adults.

May you all live in peace and happiness!

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Hi Barbara!

Thank you for your recording. It is all perfect except for one extra word at 11:48, if you please remove the "our" between "on" and "other battlefields" in the sentence "... you are lying here, and on other battlefields ..."
I love your voice. Many thanks for your contribution!

PL note:

Hi Barbara!

Thank you for the update!

I do feel it is not very smooth at 11:47 between "on" and "other". Can we possibly make it sound more natural like you read the whole sentence with no interruption?

And I also find another spot, could you please remove the extra? At 5:13 extra "on all" in "and ON ALL the roads, black figures walking ..."

Many thanks for your patience and contribution!

Regards,
Jessie

Hi Czandra and Wolfi,

I tried to open it from the link in the post, as well as from MW. I only got the version of 19:46 long, not 19:27.

Please double-check the uploading. I'd love to listen to your recordings, Czandra!

Regards,
Jessie

Should it become necessary or desirous to orphan Section 22, I would like to record it ... to make up for my tardiness with the French.

Also, I am going to try to fashion something reasonable for the French segment tomorrow, but if I fail, I will advertise for assistance from a French speaker. The balance of my missing section (the English) is already recorded. One modest thing I can say in my favor.

i think, i know how you feel.
but please, be assured, that you don't have to learn french for this project.
and that every listener will admire your efforts and your skills.
and that at least most users reading in foreign languages know such really hard passages and sections, where you need time.
i gave back a german section with a lot of french, not so long ago, by the way.

we will know tuesday next week, to whom section 22 is assigned.
i will keep your wish in mind!

cheers,
wolfi
