And my final assignment, section 4 @ 13:45.

This was an interesting read. As a physics major, I was continually frustrated by his assuming things I knew to be false and then building an argument on it. His turn of phrase is archaic (to my modern ear), and caught me out many times.

In that case, you need to read the project that inspired me on this: https://librivox.org/one-hundred-proofs-that-the-earth-is-not-a-globe-by-william-carpenter/

Yes, I can see the similarity. Thanks for that, Todd.

Sections 2-5 are all PL OK.
I'm not sure I got the MW updated, but it now reflects the above.

Here is my test. I also wanted to clarify that I would like to claim Section 21 instead of Section 23. Thank you.

Your test should be put over in the proper forum - Listeners & Editors Wanted - for review. My ears are not good enough to help. I will hold Section 21 for you.

Thanks, Todd

Here is the preface and conclusion:

Spoiler Alert: We now know, as the only reasonable conclusion, that there is intelligent life on Mars. :mrgreen:

Well maybe almost convinced. But sadly, in Section 1 at 3:21, you have (probably actually correct) "Formulæ are the æsthetics of thought" when I fear it should (in the author's twisted universe) be the nearly opposite "Formulæ are the anæsthetics of thought". That destroyed the entire argument. (Hah!)

By the way, if you wish, you could add the author's (mostly fictitious?) titles list from the title page to the beginning of the section.
DIRECTOR OF THE OBSERVATORY AT FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA; NON-RESIDENT
PROFESSOR OF ASTRONOMY AT THE MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF
TECHNOLOGY; FELLOW OF THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF ARTS AND
SCIENCES; MEMBRE DE LA SOCIÉTÉ ASTRONOMIQUE DE FRANCE;
MEMBER OF THE ASTRONOMICAL AND ASTROPHYSICAL SOCIETY
OF AMERICA; MITGLIED DER ASTRONOMISCHEN GESELLSCHAFT;
MEMBRE DE LA SOCIÉTÉ BELGE D’ASTRONOMIE; HONORARY
MEMBER OF THE SOCIEDAD ASTRONOMICA DE MEXICO;
JANSSEN MEDALIST OF THE SOCIÉTÉ ASTRONOMIQUE
DE FRANCE, 1904, FOR RESEARCHES ON MARS;
ETC., ETC.
If you wish.... Now on to the conclusion.

Thanks, Todd

Conclusion, section 34, is PL OK except for a mistake on my part. You start off at 0:01 with "Chapter 34" and it should be "Section 34" - the section numbering is different from the chapter numbering becuz of the two very long chapters I had to split up in laying out the MW. I have now corrected the first posting "Intro" words to reflect this.

Note - you did say "Section 34" in your "Outro" so that is already okay.

Also note - the early sections already recorded and PL'd are fine with either chapter or section - it isn't until the long divided chapters that it matters at all.

Thanks, Todd

(Oh, and I am not quite convinced after all. Ah, would have a great dream to have discovered highly evolved Martians had built the supposed canals....)

Ha! Well I added the above, despite my poor foreign language abilities (except for Spanish), and given a dose an anesthetic which you will now find at about 4:02

Also corrected intro of 34

Well done. And your foreign language skills sound exemplary to my ears.

Sections 1 and 34 PL OK.

Thanks, Todd
