Just one PL note for Kevin, there is a short stumble-repeat at around 5:57 (The Indian tribes ...)
Here's the fix:

I don't know how I miss some of these edits! You may address me as "You big dummy" if you wish.

There are a lot more mistakes to make before earning that title!

:9: thank you, yes I think in the end, it's also ok like that. A bit odd, but since the magazine put them there, they must have had a reason.

From now on, I'll keep an eye out for short articles about Russia in the next magazines as well :D

Ehehe, consider yourself subscribed! There isn't anything about Russia in the December issue, but I haven't checked volume 9 yet.

Section 1: spot-checked and PL OK!

Oh, I've missed the discussion here. . . . Well, I hope this section is okay:

I've read or proofed three things on Patagonia this month.
Maybe I should visit . . . .
On the road again, so delays are possible

Hi!!

I would be interested in reading number 3, The Sushitna River, Alaska, by W. A. Dickey.

This will be my first librivox recording! Sonia has just recently OK'd my one minute test!

That's exciting! Thank you for joining the National Geographic project! I'll sign you up for section 3; is there a particular name you'd like to be credited as the reader, or just the forum name?

Oh, Leni, I did not see your post. I only looked at the MW. I have recorded Section 4 and I apologize if this has disrupted your plans. If you've already done the recording, we should definitely use your version!

I'm sorry I did not claim this first but I wasn't sure if I would have time for it.

Oh, I'm so sorry I missed Leni's post!

Yes, indeed if Leni has already worked on the section. I'll go ahead and sign her up, so that the section doesn't appear open at least, and we'll work it out, I hope!

Hello, I had not worked on the section yet, mainly because I got a cold. It does not matter, all I wanted was to help complete the book. But that comes to show the importance of our procedure of claiming first, THEN recording.

Best,
Leni

Hi all. Apologies for the delay in getting section 3 to you! I have recorded the section and just need to do a bit of editing before posting it!
