I am ashamed to reveal that altho I knew that Brann's first daughter had died young, I didn't know that she committed suicide.
what a shame.
One thing to fix:

There are two sentences just prior to the title line "The Last Lesson" which should be read into this section, too. Here are those two sentences:
Reference has been made hy Judge Gerald to the pathetic tragedy in Brann's life because of the loss of his daughter.
The burden of sorrow which he bore is beautifully revealed in the following account of that tragedy which was written by Brann.

Thank you. I don't know how I missed those two lines. They definitely give even more meaning to the account. I will work on and repost.williamjones wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 7:03 pmVery, tasteful and emotive reading, Greg.GregGiordano wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 5:24 pm Here is Chapter 24:

A lot of people seem to have been falling all over themselves heaping praise on Brann.
Thanks, again, Rita.

Anyone listening to Brian's recitation of Brann's address to the United American Veterans (Blue and Gray) Society will have to admit that Brann was a remarkable writer.northstar95 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 2:56 pm Section 32 for PL: (16:03)

Stunning and moving.
Almost anticlimactic is the news that this section is PL OK.

Section/Chapter problem fixed in both 34 and 35. I should have looked ahead after having learning of the problem in 33
