Hello,

I am a newbie and I would like to record Sector 18 from this book as my first project. Please let me know if anyone has grabbed this already?
Section 18: The Duty: ‘Reforms’

Thanks,
Kush
I'll sign you up.

How would you like to be listed in the public catalog? You can choose nearly any name. I use KevinS for the forum and the catalog, but you can choose, as I say, nearly anything be wish.
Sunday is a good PL day for me.

linny, I think I will have to make the changes needed to Sections 6 and 7. Our original BC seems to have fallen off the LV Earth. Any advice on how I should proceed?

Will this be okay with you, Amy? I've never had to 'step into' someone's recording before.

Kevin,
Can you even make the changes? The PL notes included the intro and ending. Were you going to record those yourself and edit them in?

Are the acting BC or is Amy? I believe it's only appropriate for the BC or co-BC do modify a file.

When I am the BC and I have a reader with fixable PL notes I generally wait until the end of the project to fix them. I'm always hopeful they will show up again. Sometimes if it's been a slow going project like this one then I'll fix them earlier depending on my free time and how long it's been since they have logged on and I've sent a reminder PM.

When I fix a file for a reader then I download the file, make the corrections, upload and post for 'ready for spot pl'. It's as easy as that.

Let me know if you want additional details.

I think I'm technically co-BC with Elsie. If Amy wishes me to do so, I thought I would just record the intros and outros and drop them in. (I don't suppose that would be too jarring for the listener.) The alternative is to orphan the sections and lose the original semi-soloist's work, which seems a shame.

Kevin, I agree with you, an you can make the decision without me. Adding intros and outros to the file will be fine. If you want me to do section 7 since it has other problems, I'd be happy to.

Thank you. I will let you know about Section 7. (I will have to look at it more closely.)

Hello,

I'd be more than happy to read part 14 for you!

This is my first recording, so I'd like to be recorded as Tony Speltz in the catalog.
