Alright alright!

I've finished Section 10, Chapter 9. The link I received after uploading the file is here:

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/humanunderstandingvol4__10_locke_128kb.mp3.mp3

I'd like to now volunteer for Section 15, Chapter 14. I'm definitely curious about any feedback anyone has because I'm really trying to improve the quality of my recordings and voice.

Your reading style is nice and slow that listeners can easily listen :D

The recording has .mp3.mp3 at the end - please remove one of them and see if it still plays. If so reload after correcting the following.

Background noise is too loud - please clean up the background noise. Are you using Audacity?

Volume is 72.1 we like it to be 89.0 please amplify.

Here are some Audacity helps.
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Audacity_Tutorials

:27 you jread chapter 9 and the title twice

:34 we are reading the section numbers - 1 General Propositions

2:31 and will not suffer me to doubt of that. you read doubt for that

Otherwise you did a good job. I'll but you down for section Section 15, Chapter 14.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Soupy!

I'll work on fixing those issues. To answer your question, yes, I am using Audacity. I'm not immediately sure how to clean up that background noise but I'll browse the tutorial you linked and see if I can figure it out.

Thanks for the link to those YouTube videos. It helped me figure out how to amplify. I think I'm using an old version of Librivox because I don't have the analyze function that Phil the YouTuber had. Because of that, I'm not positive it's amplified to exactly 89 but I'll see about downloading a newer version of Audacity.
