That's notionally been allocated, though as the user that asked for it hasn't logged in since they asked at the end of April, I suspect it'll free up the next time one of us does a clean-up. It would be premature to reallocate it now, however.

The appropriate forum to post your 1-minute test is here: viewforum.php?f=21

Another great reading - thank you! I've got no comments on the audio part of the file, but could I ask you to do a bit of topping and tailing? The specifications are for 0.5-1.0 second of silence/room noise at the start and approximately 5s at the end. The file I downloaded has just over 2 minutes of silence at the start. If you could crop that down and resubmit, everything else is good.

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Lisa...

You're the only one to have expressed an interest, so largely we can set the timing to suit. I'll drop you a PM.

Paul

Paul, thanks for your patience! I have cut the looooong silence at the intro and adjusted the silence at end. Reuploaded link below a minute ago.

I have made a change in my notes to remember to OPEN the exported MP3 before I upload...something about the process is front-ending that silence.

Sorry, but Section 52 has already been read and PLed. I need to go through and release the sections where we've not heard from people for a few months, so some new sections may become available in a day or two.

Thanks, Chuck. That's Spot PL OK, but could I ask you to re-upload it with the filename arabiannightsvolume11_30_anonymous_128kb.mp3 ?

Detail is a PL's middle name. Well, in my case it isn't, but it should be...

That's great - thanks, Chuck. I think we can say that one's now a wrap. Thank you for digging it out again.

A number of sections have just become newly free again - I had a purge of those stories where the reader hadn't posted in the thread for over two months and isn't responding to PMs.

I hope nobody feels unjustly treated by this, but we need to identify those passages that have genuinely been abandoned. Sometimes real life gets in the way and we take longer than we expected - if that's you, please feel free to post a short "I'm still here" style message in the thread periodically so we know that you're still working on it.

Cheers,
Paul
