I've recorded most of it, edited maybe about 1/4 of it. But it's never, ever going to make the 72 minutes for me. So it doesn't make sense to keep on editing the file. You know, the text has quite a few excerpts from different works, and the excerpts are in a smaller font. Maybe that's why it has a higher word count than you might have expected?

Anyway, it's up to you about dividing it up more. Do you manually have to move all of the other sections downward if you split it up more? If you want to split it, then I'll try to complete it. Or if you would prefer to leave the section as is and wait for a faster reader, then that's fine, too. I'm good with either one. :)
Kind regards,
Lucretia

That’s OK, if you’ve recorded it we should use it! Edit it all and split it in half and I’ll create you a new section, no problem!

Sounds good, Beth. I will keep working on it. And I'll split it and upload it in two files. Thanks! :)

Beth and Lucretia,

If you want to call the two files 08a and 08b, I can rename the files when we catalog. That way no one else needs to change their file name.

I've downloaded the submitted sections to PL, but it'll take a while. They're long sections.

If anyone else wants to PL, please feel free. Just let me know which ones you'd like so that I don't double up the work. :) I'm starting with chapter 12.
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

It would be an honor to help finish this. I can DPL and Co-BC if desired.

Great, thanks!

I'm listening to section 2 now. I'll finish that one up and leave the rest to you. 8-)

Chapter 2, part 1:

About 2 seconds of silence at the beginning; please cut this down to about 0.5-1 second.

14:46 - "The, uhh, poet pictures vividly" - It would be nice if this can be re-recorded to remove the "uhh" ;)

I did the word counts and there are 2 possibly 3 more sections to break down. Is it ok to use the same naming convention?

Rolv,
Great reading! I hate to do this but I need you to extend your ending silence to 5 seconds. You only have ~2.5 seconds which puts your section at risk of being cut off during playback.
