Thanks Greg, I’ll need the name you want to use for the catalogue - I’m not sure how to spell your surname!

Also when you upload I need the length of the file in minutes and seconds, just to check that I have it all! This one appears to be 12:37?

Edit: also the filename is not correct and will need to be changed when you make your other corrections to the file. The name of the author appears in the filename, not your name - in this case the author is Turner. Also the section numbers MUST have two digits in order to sort correctly, so your file needs to be “02”.

Sorry about that. I guess I should have read the instructions more thoroughly. Aside from the changes to the file name and the info provided, are there changes needed in the recording itself?

I haven’t listened to the whole file, so if you wait for the comments you can then make all the changes at once.

I did notice that the outro at the end is incomplete - it should say “end of Greek Philosophy Chapter 2” and then have 5 seconds of silence.

If you want to go on and start recording the next section while waiting for the full PL that’s fine.

Hi it's my first time volunteering, but I've always been interested in philosophy. I'd like to volunteer to read chapter 6 on the Sophists.

That’s great! I’ll hold that section for you, but please do your 1 minute test and post it to the Listener’s forum and get it all Ok before you record for me.

I'm new here and it seemed like on the instructions for the one minute test it wanted me to post a link to the test on here as well, so here it is:

Hey there!

Could I claim section 7 please?

Many thanks.

(EDIT: I'm sorry I meant to say chapter 5 which is indeed section 7)
