My guess, make it sound Biblical. It's not a main character or place that is integral to the story, so I leave it to your discretion. It is, however the title of Chapter 45, where it appears 4 times, and another instance appears in the Appendix, so you may want to share your research. But beware, Mr. John, once thus invested . . he he he . . . you may feel an irresistible pull to read Chapter 45 (section 46) ! He He He.

PL Notes 54

Wow, that chapter is a spoiler, so I won't discuss it, but you read/sang it so well! I noted a few mistakes, some of more significance than others.
2:16 for hearing the report of the hunt, you say fearing
2:20 left their huts on the plantations* (plural), you say plantation (singular). Seems important.
4:16 inestimable diamond, you say un*-inestimable, can easily whack off the "un"
5:25 dropped from the pocket, you say bucket
6:56 shaggy mound, you say shabby, then mention shaggy a few sentences down the line.

That Biblical word sounds fine to me!

Section/Chapter 10 PL NOTES:
It seems the flighty Nina is developing into a more substantial person.
Michele, You *are* channeling Nina!
I loved listening to your recitation.

Three small points of interest:
1:31 heard "for a lady of your position..."
s/b "for a YOUNG lady of your position...."

3:17 heard "I felt so SORRY for him! "
s/b "I felt so for him! " [no "sorry"]

23:48 heard " rallied her on TO silence"
s/b " rallied her on HER silence"

I don't quite get this last item, but them is the words in the text.

Thanks. I wasn't expecting that, but it's good. FYI, Chapter 11 implies that Nina does not know that Harry is her half-brother (same father)! I thought she always knew. Oops, is that a spoiler? Well, it certainly complicates the plot. I, like Harry, am extremely seething mad!!!!!

No obligation, but feel free to PL my chapters as they are uploaded. :D :D :D

Dred chapter 11 - The Lovers - PL NOTES.

A "fun" chapter!

8:05 heard "all the properties of cap and silk gown..."
s/b "all the proprieties of cap and silk gown..."

8:20 heard "in FASTIDIOUS life"
s/b "in FACTITIOUS life" [fak·ti·shuhs]
I had never heard nor used this word before. Had to look it up.
