Uploaded Section 09 Chapter 4 of the Schliemihl story.

https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/germanauthorsvol2_09_various_128kb.mp3 24:25

This chapter has the logical ending of the story.
Read more about this in my comments to Chapter 5, coming soon to a computer near you.

Uploaded Section 10 Chapter 5 of the Schliemihl story.

https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/germanauthorsvol2_10_various_128kb.mp3 29:19

I have a complaint.
This chapter is totally unrelated to the first four chapters. It was probably an earlier written sketch that he just pasted onto the end of the Schliemihl story. Schliemihl is still the name of the main character but the shadow disappears, and does the man in the gray cloak, and Bendel, his man servant, etc.

I commented in the posting of Chapter 4 that *IT* was the logical end to the Schliemihl story. I strongly believe that now. Chapter 5 is a waste of time to those expecting a continuation of the Schliemihl's Shadow story.

so, there. I've had my say.

I appreciate being allowed to contribute to this project.

My complaint was made facetiously to the author, Chamisso, whose life long avocation was Botany. :D

This project has too much good stuff in it to be languishing this long.

May I have section 01?

Uploaded Section 1

Fairly easy reading.

When I get a "PL OK" on this one I'll probably ask for section 2; so, all you other folks out there, get your dibs in for section 2 "Rat Nau".

Bill, do you have a reason to doubt your "PL OK"? I am intrigued, will try to expedite...

I just don't want folks to think this project is the "Colleen & Bill" Project.
For the most part, these are well-crafted stories and others should have an opportunity to record them... and to listen to them.
There are two more open sections.

From my university days:
Q: What’s the definition of a Russian string quartet?
A: A Soviet orchestra back from a US tour.
