Hi Naaktgeboren.  I've signed you up for section 27 of this book, David's Nonsensical Story.

As this will be your first recording for Librivox, please have a look at the NewbieGuideToRecording and also read carefully through all the notes in the first post of this thread if you haven't already done so.

We also highly recommend that you send in a short test recording to check that all the technical requirements are good before recording a full chapter.

http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

We also need to know by what name you would like to be listed in the catalog. If you have a personal website, that can be linked as well.

Thanks and welcome to Librivox. :)

I would like to claim section 18-the one written by Mrs. E. M. Field!
This is my first time recording; may I appear in the Librivox catalog as "jayyyseph"?

Thank you!

Best,
Jay

At 6:55 (line 5977 of the text file), I corrected one typo: for “parsing well” read “passing well.”
Thanks Ariphron. Both your sections 15 & 16 are in the MW ready for PL.

Hi - Any PL on the horizon for this? Hope so! :) :) Thanks! - Betsy
Hi Betsy,

Not sure. Linny is the PLer and she has not posted for about a month. Let's give her a little more time to get to this. She must be busy outside of LibriVox at present.

I'm posting the link to my recording of The King of the Golden River (Section 23).

This is the first recording I have done, let me know if there is anything I need to fix.

Thanks!
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your recording. Please post the length of the recording in mm:ss when you post the link. Hopefully Linny will be back to PL your file before too long. Meanwhile I have added the link to the MW.

Sorry Anita, but that section was already claimed by another reader.\ while our BC has been away, so the MW wasn't updated.
