HI Leni,

I'm finally  getting ready to read my bit, but please remind me: You do want to have the author's introduction in the beginning as well, right?
Cheers, Ava.

Section #7 PL NOTES

Well read, but a few technical issues involving volume.
  • volume at first 5 seconds too low, it jumps up noticeably startled me
volume at 17:05- 17:20-30 is noticeable quieter than before and after. I suspect an edited section
volume at 18:20-30 was a little louder than the surrounding volume, but not as great a difference as the other two

the reading was quite good, just the volume on the longer poem at the end was not consistent.

Thanks,
aniroo

No you just need to go in and select those sections and amplify them a little bit. I can tell you how to do it in audacity.

Section #8 PL NOtes

Hi, Sorry about this but it is the volume issue again. At 14:45 - 14:53 the volume goes to almost a whisper. In the poem Hohenlinden.

Also the beginning is to have "no more than .5 - 1 second of silence. Yours has 1.5 seconds of silence at the beginning. I'm not sure why that is important. I think it has something to do with cataloging. It's an easy fix though, just cut a second of the beginning silence.

Hi
I'm wondering if you can help with this:
I'm supposed to be reading the last 3 chapters of a book "K" with mc listed as Annise. However, the forum page for the book has vanished and I can't access the text or chapter numbers. Who can I contact? Thank you

Hi, quick question. I'm prepping the Catullus section to record. In the text each poem ends with "Translation of [Name]." Would it be acceptable to move that to after the title of the poem and say "Translated by [Name]" instead? Just seems clearer that way.
