Chapter 2 - PL OK!

One note, I noticed in the recording there were muffled sounds that possibly were caused by breath across the microphone, nothing terrible or anything and certainly not anything to change, but I thought I would bring it up. You can hear them well between 12:50 - 12:53 for an example, but they were scattered throughout. It was more noticeable on headphones. Maybe just something to keep in mind for future recording? :D

Thank you!
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. Honestly I cannot hear it, I do not seem to be able to hear things like that easily  but I will keep that in mind when I do record.

I found the easiest way to reduce breath sounds was to make a pop filter - a double layer of stocking stretched over a wire coat hanger does the trick! (You can also buy them pretty cheaply and attach them to your mic if you prefer.)

Thanks for the suggestion, I Will try that next time I record.

Audacity 2.2.2 has icon that is for removing breath sound too. On mine it shows clip scissors, copy, paste icons, trim audio outside selection(looks like spool of thread), then silence audio selection. This last one removes breath sounds between sentences etc. or other noise you may hear.

Be careful not to delete all breath sounds - dead silence gives a very unpleasant sound to the recording.

Here is Chapter 7.

https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/k_07_rinehart_128kb.mp3

Length 11:52

Sorry it took so long. I had to replace my computer and recording gear after a move this summer and only just got everything set up again properly.

Thanks, Todd
