Another fasonating book by the author of A Vanished Hand.Rhoda returns home after the death of her imployer to find out that her cousin Helen, with whom she was raised, also returned home. Perfect for fans of good novels about crimes, stories about childhood, along with lovers of religious fiction. ( Stav Nisser.)
  1. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Looks like you're in need of a DPL. I just finished another book, so I'm available.

Here is chapter 1

https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/nellychannell_01_doudney_128kb.mp3

duration 16.22

I am unsure of the pronunciation of Nelly's surname. I have put the emphasis on the first syllable ( as in English channel) but listening to the recording I wonder if it should not be on the second.

If that is the case it is easy enough for me to revise the recording. It only occurs twice !

Hi Jeniffer,
thanks for chapter 1. I think you said it correctly (smile). It is just how I would have pronounced it.

PL OK!

Due to time zones, your first version was uploaded while I was asleep, and your updated version at about 7:16 am, so no, I hadn't started listening.

EDIT: David, can you grant me access to the magic window?
