Thank you!

Thank you for reading this chapter for us!

There a some missed words throughout, but sill within the parameters of standard proof listening. There are, however, several places where there are mouse clicks that are distracting and would be easy to clip out at the following locations:

0:52, 2:00, 2:51, 6:00, 6:10

Then there are several names that are mispronounced. Normally, with standard PL, we don't deal with pronunciation issues, but these are such well-known names, I thought they would be worth mentioning, but I'll let you decide if you would like to correct them. They are as follows:

8:33 - Thames pronounced “Tems.” I hear “Tames”
8:50 and 13:03 West-min-ster. I hear an extra syllable West-min-i-ster
9:04 Greenwich pronounced Grenich, I hear Green-wich
13:01, 13:06, I hear “Wads-worth” instead of “Words-worth”

Finally, the ending silence should be closer to 5 and I see 6 (not a huge deal, but might as well trim it).

Upload your new file (let me know what you have changed) with the same name and post the link and time again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Hello,

Below I have the edited recording. I took out the clicks and trimmed the ending silence. I also changed the mispronunciations. If you noticed anymore please let me know. This has changed the length of the recording to now 16:04. If there are any more edits that I should make let me know!

Eva

Thanks, Larry! Nice job. Myself, I'll leave the poem-writing to the poets.

For some reason, your bit rate here is only 112 kbps. :hmm: Have you done any fiddling with your settings lately?

Yikes!
In hundreds of LV sections, I don't recall that ever happening. But, then I'm capable of just about anything to mess up a recording. I've already checked a few that I uploaded the same day, and --- yep, 112. Must have some prophetic significance, but I'll still have to get those other files corrected before the DPL snags them. Thanks for being thorough because I never would have noticed it. I use ReplayGain, but maybe I should still run my recordings through Checker. I do on PL.

Much better! :D I don't usually run my own files through Checker anymore either. I did it religiously when I was new, but only occasionally nowadays. And actually, it wasn't until recently that I started realizing that I should check files I PL through Checker. Paid off this time!

A friend of mine who is also interested in Boreham just published this exhaustive list of his works on his own web page. I've bookmarked it for future projects.

Thanks. I won't have a chance to update the MW until Monday. (But of course, if Larry gets to it before then, that's totally fine with me! )
