Chapter 1 is PL okay!

And wonderfully read! This has a nice, gentle flow, very "clean" to hear, and propels interest.
Too, I must say that I'm impressed with your smooth pronunciation of some *very* unusual names. I've had to create a pronunciation guide for my chapters!

Looking forward to hearing much more from you, Mr. Nelson.
Yours, by the way, is the first voice I immediately recognize from another wonderful work which you fabulously assisted in completing: The Witch of Prague

Well done!

Thanks. So, how did Witch of Prague end? I only did early chapters.

Quite welcome; well deserved!

Basically Unorna decides to be Truly Loving and assist in Reuniting The Wanderer and Beatrice.
We don't have clear idea of what happens to the other characters.

I've been recommending this, and other works of F. Marion Crawford, to my friends. He's one of my new favorite authors.

Thank you in advance for PLing, Divya. And again, please remember that I am not expecting you to listen to all of these chapters in one sitting.
I have now tired of hearing my own voice (this chapter needing LOTS of rework ... and listening ... and analyzing ... and listening ... and well, you know the drill! ) and I do not wish for YOU to grow to dread hearing even one more second of me!

Hope you are well!

Chapter 10, 13, 27, 29: PL OK

Chapter 21:
1) Stumble at 6:13 “I...am...I am sorry. I was thinking”
2) Missing phrase at 7:33 “asleep, began to repeat to himself Iren Dostal’s ballad of the archer and the bear. But at”
Also, "Part 2" and "Part 3" stamps are missing but you may add it if you wish to. Please make the changes and reupload.

Thanks a ton Angelique! You have a wonderful voice, and its been a pleasure to listen to your recordings. May there be many more :D :D

Thanks so much, Divya!
At points during these recordings, I began to wonder WHY I could no longer read at all. *Laugh* ... So I'm thrilled you enjoyed them!

Here is the re-up; I decided not to add "Part 2" and "Part 3." I just didn't feel that in this instance it made much difference, whereas with the other chapters there was a clear need to say "Nexxxt scene." (Besides, in all honesty, I didn't think of adding it in the original recording and was now afraid I'd inadvertently do something awful to it! :) )
Cut (and add) and runnnnn! on this seems best to me!

Your PL help is invaluable, Divya. As I mentioned earlier, I listened to these recordings on repeat, and still needed a touch of help ... your kind provision is deeply appreciated!

I hope to see you around very soon!

Again, a deeply compelling listen on Chapter 2, sjmarky!

Two notes, regarding narrator insertions:

3:21
Text: ( ... this was the reason she more than a little repelled).
Said: ( ... this was the reason she was more than a little repelled).

14:12
Text: I happened to fall in with His Grace
Said: I happened to fall in *LOVE* with His Grace

... which amused me, I must say! *GRIN*
(I just KNOW I would have done the same. )

Otherwise, all is more than merely good with the chapter!
I look forward to your next contribution!

Best,

I guess that did change the meaning a smidge.

Jusssst ... a touch. *Smile*

"Whyyyy Count CLUEDI! You Complete Hedonist!"

But wouldn't His Grace be *SURPRISED!* *GRIN*

Chapter 2 is now PL OK; thank you for correcting as per both notes and re-loading so quickly, Mark!

Wonderful reading again on Chapter 3, Mark; my former interest in Dr. Remigorious grows to a sense of intrigue with your character development!

A few notes here.
There is a DC bias of +3; I note no cracks, "hissles" or pops within the recording, nor do I know if there's another reason that the bias will make other true difference, but you may want to change it with the other small corrections.

11:18
Text: ... leaves one without force or will ...
Said: ... leaves one with force or will ...

11:41
Text: lighted a candle-stub
Said: lighted with a candle-stub

This one does not so essentially change meaning as to require omission, but you may wish to while in there for the other.

Thanks, truly, for your contribution to this project, Mark; it has been a delight to closely listen to your work.
I have picked up a few tips for pausing to use in my own recordings!
I hope to hear more from you in the near future.

Regards,
~Angelique
