I hate doing this, but I’m afraid I have to drop out of this project. Real life has gotten a little hectic lately and I need to take some time off. I apologize for the inconvenience.
PROJECTS
Current Solo:Septimius Felton (Hawthorne's final novel)
Help Needed: Strange Interlude (O'Neill's Freudian melodrama - roles available!)

*Grin* I shall have your PL notes to you within a few hours, Mark.

I very much look forward to it; thank you for taking the time to get these done, and so quickly! I am pleased to see you took the epilogue! *SMILE*

I will also soon upload my two assigned chapters here.

It IS quite wonderful bringing these great works to life ... and with such wonderful people, too.

*SMILE* in Divya's direction!

Be back with you soon.

Yayyy! Now I can finally load my chapters:
This is 15 ... Charalkis: The Door Closes
https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/bluestar_15_pratt_128kb.mp3 25:59

I'll have the other chapter loaded soon. I made some egregious error in sound overlay that I'm still trying to correct, so will have it up as soon as I untangle the sound.

As always, thank you for the listen, thank you for your patience, thank you for being you! *Smile*

Best,

Here is chapter 6 Night, Day: The Place of Masks

https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/bluestar_06_pratt_128kb.mp3 18:42

Which was too easy to correct! *Laugh* Previously, I tried for about 30 minutes to fix a sound overlay error and then had to stop.
This time, it went smoothly, I hope.
Divya, would you please make sure that around the 1:50 on for a few minutes marks that the word "bowed" is not overlaid into the recording?
It sounded VERY strange ... as a ghost ... in my own voice.
I think I excised it, but it may have slipped in there beyond where I stopped listening, as I'm not listening beyond that edit ... lest I be another two days in fixing every lil everything that I think may not be perfect. *GRIN*

As always, CC is appreciated!

Best Regards,
~Angelique

Epilogue:

All is PL okay!

Again, what a pleasure to hear, Mark! You have great characterization from the JUMP of the piece. Pauses and flow of piece are spectactular as well.

Thanks for this contribution; I anticipate with pleasure listening to the next. *SMILE*

Chapter 7 is PL okay!

Nice flow, nice pausing, great to learn more about narration craft through these proof listens, Mark!

Thanks. Narrators often feel they are reading too fast, when they really just need to pause more, especially during dialogue.
