PL Notes 31

Checker reports your volume at 87.6, within range but low. Your recording of 30 which precedes this section, is at 88.8, up 1.2
Just curious whether you changed your volume settings, your location, or maybe your distance from the mike.

Only hiccup I found was:
16:30 political capacity, I hear politipacity. I leave it to you whether to change it, as it is understandable in the context. Just let me know.

Interesting chapter, especially how it fits right in with your recent solo, John Dewey's Human Nature and Conduct.

Later this afternoon, I'll correct "politipacity" and bump up the volume.
THANK YOU FOR NOTING THESE FLAWS. I very much appreciate it.

Section 16 is PL-OKAY!

As I ended your reading with a "Yes, Lady! Impressive!"

Masterfully done, Michele, as it struck me that the pacing of your reading would be instrumental to any who must understand difficult material. By simultaneously reading and listening to you, the material could be best concretized in memory. That is of high value!

Simply as a note, this was not uploaded to the MW, and so I required your direction to know it was ready for PL, (not having found it among the notifications.) When you update the MW, you'll have the two steps to complete. *Smile*

As always, I appreciate the opportunity to listen to your recording!

PL Notes Section 22

Hello Philip, What a gruesome, disheartening chapter. Thanks for reading it. I would have cried with outrage. Just a few PL notes:

As this whole book is riddled with Stowe's commentary, interspersed with quotations from court cases, newspaper articles, judge's arguments, etc., and it is sometimes (not always) unclear where one ends and the other begins, I recommend you add "end quote" at these locations.
2:16, 8:00, 10:42

11:10 when God riseth up?, I hear "riseth uth.
OUTRO should read: "End of Part 2, Chapter 8, The Good Old Times."

Dear Gentlewoman MsFry,

I would be delighted if I were to be assigned section 57 Appendix.
If, however, you yourself or someone else has a hankering to read this section, I will withdraw the offer of my modest efforts in their favor.

Your humble and obedient servant and enthusiast,
-- Bill Jones
