Hello Nighthawks,
Thank you for such a lovely, expressive reading! I have only two very small notes: 1) At the beginning of the recording, please say "Chapter 7" instead of "Number 7" for continuity with other chapters 2) At the :28 mark, please change "meeting" to "morning." Otherwise, all correct.

When I checked the file, volume came in a bit over the range at 93.1 db but the listening experience was fine through earplugs. I would recommend leaving as is, and perhaps Lynne can check to make sure.

Yes, the volume will need to be reduced. It needs to be about 89dB but we can usually accept 86-92 as we can even it out during cataloguing... outside that range, we can't and the project will fail. When you do the other edits, please amplify by about -4

Thank you for your kind remarks, I did proof read, but it just goes to show that you can still make mistakes.
I have done as requested and also reduced volumn, Please let me know if all is ok.

Thanks :D

Hi Nighthawks,
Thanks for fixing; your volume is down to 91 db so I think it will meet the requirements Lynne gave. One more note--don't hate me! Last time I neglected to ask you to include the chapter title "The Pot......Fight" in between Chapter 7 and the narrative. Once that's done, I will mark it PL OK.

In appreciation, Lora

Dear Lam83--
I have not forgotten about you--am waiting to hear back from Lynne about a question I had on your revised file. It seems like the volume still isn't quite what it should be and I need Lynne's advice at this point. No need to change anything just yet. Thanks for understanding. Lora

Sorry, I missed the question.
I'm afraid the file falls outside the acceptable range, at 78.7 dB. It will need to be amplified by about 12 dB.
You can check your own volume using the (free and safe) Checker program, written specially for Librivox: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

Dear Lam83,
As Lynne wrote, the file still needs to be amplified by 12 db to reach the minimum level for Librivox. Sorry that you have to work with the file again; let me know when you're finished and I will spot check it. Thanks, Lora

Hello Nighthawks,
Thank you for your readings. I will PL Chapter 13 before the weekend and will look forward to Ch. 14. **Please note: Last time I neglected to ask you to please include the chapter title, "The Pot......Fight" in between Chapter 7 and the narrative. My apologies. Once that's done, I will spot check and mark it PL OK.
