The DPL has returned from Puerto Rico. As soon as we got an Wifi signal the power would go out.

The spirit of the people is keeping the island together and they are preparing and praying for a calm hurricane season this year since they haven't fully recovered from Hurricane Maria last year.

What a struggle they have had to face. It is so unfortunate that no more was done and sooner.

We were surprised to learn from people we know that they were without electricity for 6-9 months if they didn't live in a city.

Many men sent their wives and children to the States and are now only returning to be reunited. Crazy to imagine living like that, and yet everyone still had a smile on their face and were thrilled to have us visit. They need tourism money!

Thank you for your concern and contribution. Maybe, my wife and I need to think about a visit.

Thanks to Lynda, Laura and Jim!

Jim - I've been vacationing to Puerto Rico for over 10 years. I love it there and you would not be disappointed in a visit to the island. The beaches are wonderful and the people generous. There is every type of activity, exploring the great outdoors to modern city activities, music, dancing, and great food. It would be a trip to remember.
