I am new to Librivox. I have a question. How long does it take for someone to check for approval a new comer's reading test?

Fayyaz.
Checking your posts, I see that your test recording was checked on April 24 by one of our admins, with some notes on technical things that needed to be corrected, and a link to the correct forum to post the corrected recording to.

rampantant wrote: May 2nd, 2018, 2:12 am Hello! May I claim sections 70, 71 and 73?

70 - Getting Things into the Eye, Nose, Ear, etc. - Hiccoughs
71 - How to Avoid Accidents - Neuralgia
73 - Pulse - Scalds and Burns

Thanks!

EDIT: This would be my first contribution, my 1-minute test was approved yesterday. Please feel free to use "Marta" for the registry
Welcome to LibriVox, Marta!

I've added you to the LV catalog and assigned the above sections to you..

Hi again!

That was so fun. Here are the recordings for sections 70, 71 and 73.

Since these are so short, may I claim 63, 64 and 65?

Cheers

I have put these in the MW Ready for PL, but could you please post the file length for these sections.
I did take just a short listen the first one, and I hear a lot of background noise -- not a hum, but clicks and clacks. I think some of them are mouse clicks, but others are closer together. Some of these could be edited out, and noise reduction might help, but let's see what our DPL has to say. Kristin had more experience in these things, I think

Thanks! Sorry about that, I'll add the outro and the runtime by the end of the week.
