Thank you, John!
I've put this in the MW Ready for PL, but we are still looking for a DPL for this project.

Larry (and David) - working through the author database, it looks like you somehow got your own name in as a translator for this project. Please watch this in future: don't put yourself in as an author or translator. ;) Your name only goes in the spot where you credit the source of the summary.
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

John:

Section 7 has one note:

At 5:50 I heard "everything" to turn up: I expected "something" to turn up.

Good to hear your reading again. (I think Larry has forgotten me).

Many thanks,

Philip

I wou8ld like to read either chapters 12-13 or chapters 17& 18 of Buffalo Bill from prairie to palace. I've tried several times to sign in on those chapters, but nothing would activate. Larry England

Welcome!

You would be most welcome to read some of these chapters. There are a few things to do before you start.
First, Read all of the instructions in the first message of this topic thread. Then, follow the link in bullet point to for the Newbie Guide to Recording. You will find there enough to get you started. Included there are the instructions for completing your one-minute prelimany recording. This is important to check all of your technical issues before recording a longer piece.

One you have an official "OK" on that, post again here and state exactly which chapter you would like to read -- your choice, not mine, of any open chapters. I would suggest starting with one, but no more than two. You can always request more after that, of course. I will acknowledge your claim and put it in the Magic Window.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'm always glad to help.

John:

Sections 11 and 16 are PL-OK!

Section 14--just two minor corrections

at 0:23 I heard Chapter 15 instead of Chapter 14.
at 2:44 the "if" is omitted in the phrase "halted if halted"

Nicely done.

Many thanks,

Philip
