I would like to state, that it might help the reader, if you were to search for, and remove, all the commas.

I don't think dramatic pauses are necessary for a subject like geology!

Hello everybody!

My name is Vince. I'm new to recording for Librivox, and this form of media more broadly...

I'd like to claim sections 9 and 10 (both parts of chapter 4, please).

If you folks require any additional information, please let me know. I've checked out the new reader stickies and everything - I think I've got it down. A dear friend of mine is a semi-professional audio engineer (he's got all the expensive equipment), and he's offered to record for me. Him and I did a test recording and, aside from me being nervous the first two minutes and him accidentally cutting out a couple of intentional pauses, we think it sounds halfway decent.

Thanks!
-Vince

Hi Vince,

Welcome to LibriVox! I have you down for sections 9 and 10, thank you! For your one minute test, please post it in the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum, and you will want to upload your mp3 file to our server. https://librivox.org/login/uploader And here is the username and password. Image You will need to chose test-test in the drop down menu so that your test will go into the correct folder, then paste the link the uploader gives you in the Listeners and Editors Wanted folder. Someone will come along and check your test as soon as they can.

What name would you like to be credited on your catalog page?
