Okay, I have the second take for part 21, Chapter 9, Section 3.

I am sorry this took so long! I had not noticed I had received a reply until about an hour ago. I hope this second take is closer to LibriVox standards.

Section 59 needs a bit of help.
The volume is currently at 104 dB, which is 15 dB above the ideal volume. It is so loud that the whole file has been clipped, and thus very distorted. Did you have a problem with the volume of your microphone? I know that you have recorded for me before, and volume has never been a problem. I'm not sure if we can even use the recording, unless you accidentally over amplified your original recording and still have it at a lower level. Let's talk about this so that we can figure it out.

Keep your mind here and now, where it belongs.
Hello,
May I claim section 99?
Kind regards,
Chad

Can someone check this for volume? I recorded it once and Icequeen and myself listened to it and it was SUPER loud so I recorded a small bit for re-listening. Thank you.

The volume is currently at 88.5 dB, so that is good. BTW, do you have the Checker program? I always run my recorded sections through it before I send them in, just to make sure that there are no issues, like making sure the recording is in mono and not stereo. And, it will give you the volume. Here is the link to the website. https://cgjennings.ca/checker.html And the page about Checker in our wiki. https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker
