Hi Foon & Jordan,

sect 6
PL Note: Jordan, please don't do anything yet. I know this is not word perfect, so I will let Foon decide.

2:06 I hear "when I escaped the Rais of the bark"

text "when I espied the Rais of the bark"

Everything else is perfect!
Helen

This seems like a pretty substantial slipup on my part, changes the meaning quite a bit. Sounds to me like I should rerecord that.

So that is why it was so short...
I will fix section 38 to include nights 963 and 964.

Yes, I think it changes the meaning quite a bit--could you change that one line? :)

aloha,
joe t.
Hi Joe,

This section is very short, it is over 2000 words so it should be a lot longer. I haven't listened, but I want to make sure: the entirety of both nights 895 and 896 should be included in your section. Did something go wrong there?

897 continues the Slave Girl Story......AH!!!

I need to go back and read from the Text where it says what night it is!! OK. as in #895 (which is the rest of the Frankish Wife story.) Gad!

Reading pieces of stories... yipe!

Did not understand how this was divvied up.

Will take care of it soon......thanks!

No worries! I totally understand how it is confusing, since we have both stories and nights and we divide by the latter.

Just to be clear, your section starts at:
When it was the Eight Hundred and Ninety-Fifth Night,

She said, It hath reached me, O auspicious King, that the old woman said to the man, "However the secret must not go beyond us three, to wit me, thee and her; and there is no help but thou be lavish of thy money to boot."

and it ends at:
Then I took to weeping and buffeting myself, saying, 'Thou hast parted with thy soul and thy wealth is lost!'"-- And Shahrazad perceived the dawn of day and ceased saying her permitted say.

Can I read another couple of sections:

section 39 - night 965 and 966;
section 40 - night 967 and 968.

The cicadas are sleeping, better take advantage.
