Greetings -

Section 33

Just a couple of corrections needed and this one will be ready to go:

Time: 00:43 Text has 3/4 cups yeast, reading has one cup yeast.

Time: 01:23 Text has four eggs, reading has two eggs

Lovely accent, I look forward to listening to more of your readings.

I like simple muffins like these because they do not hide the flavor of good butter (lots of it) and good honey (lots of that, too)

Thanks, Lomond, that's a nice thing to say. :)

I am barred from Project Gutenberg (they put a geoblock for all of Germany), so I downloaded one of the many versions from archive org. Seems something went wrong with the epub version as far as the yeast goes, but all original editions I checked have two eggs. Maybe PG got that one wrong?

Just looking at the recipe, I would agree that two eggs seems to be the right number as the recipe already has a quart of milk as a liquid.

Carolin, what do we do in a case like this?

I would be very interested in reading Section 12--Pork and Section 31--Bread. This will be my first recording project. I am linbur0100 in the forums, but I plan to say my full name in the intro: Linda Burke, so I think that is how I'd like to appear in the catalog.

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to participating!

I uploaded the version with 3/4 cup of yeast and four eggs now. Let me know if you'd prefer two eggs after all. :)

Four eggs it is.

If I had lots of time, I'd make a batch with two eggs and a batch with four eggs and report on the difference but I have sections to PL instead. :)
