Apologies, I recorded section 30 by mistake. Can you put me down for that one as well? I'll get that off to you soon and start on the other ones soon.

I guess it's yours now. You're lucky no-one else had already claimed it.

Next time, check the Magic Window carefully!

My bad. I gave the Latin numerals by mistake.

It is 14 minutes 32 seconds long.
The text is all correct (at least, I think the length Latin section is correct; ah, the days when you could put a page of Latin and expect your audience to understand...), but the technical details need to be looked at.

You've got it saved as a variable bit rate (VBR), when it needs to be a 128kbps constant bit rate.

It's also too loud. You should be aiming for 89 dB, and you're at 95.4 dB.

You also need to slightly change the opening and closing silences. The beginning one should be 'no more than 0.5 to 1 second' (yours is about about 1.4), and 'there should be 5 seconds silence at the end of the recording' (you've got about 3).

It is 31 minutes and 37 seconds long.
Here are your notes:

0:00: Opening silence is too long. It should be 'no more than 0.5 to 1 second', but yours is over 2 seconds long.
14:12: Repetition of 'that the edges of the flame touch'.

Man, that 31 minutes and 37 seconds flew by! It felt like it was only 21 minutes and 37 seconds.

Oh and Philip, I know it's been a while, but this chapter's got a couple of new words for you: 'lapidescent' (capable of petrifying other bodies), 'formatrix' (a formative faculty) and 'ebullition' (the act of boiling)

Hi Jordan.

Well I only knew one of those 3 (the last one). I'll be back in a week or so to claim some more of these, but I've been sidelined by a head cold (and it wasn't serious, but it played havoc with my reading schedule).

It is 17 minutes 58 seconds long.
6:55: 'it is not less difficult to conceive' is missing here between 'proceed from corruption' and 'First, how the corruption'
MorganScorpion wrote: July 6th, 2018, 12:43 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/micrographia_27_hooke_128kb.mp3

It is 18 minutes and 29 seconds long.
10:24: Failed take of 'as he affirms' to be removed

Also, both of these new recordings are a little too loud. You should be aiming for 89 dB, and you're at 92.3 dB and 92.1 dB.
