There are only a few small issues with Section 2;
there are almost 4 seconds of silence before the recording,
there is no, "end of chapter" and seven seconds of silence at the end of the recording.

The rest of the reading of the recording is excellent, great inflection of the characters voices!
No problem, I can cut down the silence and add in the end of chapter message. Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Here's Section 5 (20.44):

I'd like to read Section 6 (The Lady's Companion) but want to know how I should handle the preamble scene - what introduction do I give to this ? Can you tell me exactly what I should say before I start reading both the preamble and then the main chapter.

Thanks v much !

PL OK for Section 5

I did check the dB levels since it seemed off, it came out at 92.

I didn't know if that was acceptable or not, just FYI.

Everything else is great with the recording.

Hello!

I've recorded chapter 10, but when I put it through the "checker" program it's coming out a little bit loud - at 92.1dB.

Is this too loud - shall I re-record the section? Or is there a way of reducing the volume without re-recording?

Thank you!

Hi leyla, no need to re record. Im ok with 0.1 over the limit, just upload it :thumbs:

If ever you do have to decrease the volume, just amplify with a negative value

Thank you!
