jakemalizia wrote: October 17th, 2021, 12:38 am Can you just confirm how you want my audio files to be saved?
For instance, for the first one - 56a - shall I save it as "jsbach2_56a_schweitzer" ?

Also, I notice all of the piano files so far are saved in .flac format? Is that the preferred format for mine as well?

I will be using MuseScore, so it's all digital. I can export to MP3, WAV, FLAC, or OGG
You can save them like how you said jsbach2_56a_schweitzer
MP3 would probably be better for editing purposes.
Thanks,

okay, no problem. I'll continue nevertheless. Can I have permission to post my contributions in the MW? I'll think about PLing - have never DPL'd except in solos, not ready for that, esp. with musical interludes. Jake is very good, though (hint :?: )

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

I'm not the one who could give you access to the MW... that would have to be the MC. If you're interested in DPLing, I will gladly give it to you! I'm sure you woul do good for it :P

re. MW, I see it has been updated already, so no need for permission

re. 3 recordings: I think ss. 5 and 7 may need volume boosted....

Haha thank you Czandra, you're very kind. Unfortunately I can't PL this as it's not PD for me. I'm just here to create the musical excerpts  as that copyright is with Herr Bach

I have understood belatedly that the reader of section 4 was to have sung the few choral lines included in the text (with a male voice!) Did not do. Obvious reasons.

I have reached out to a friend who may be able to record them, if Mozart sir can insert them later. That way you can use my recording of the chapter.

What say you?

I understand... you can still use the narration of the chapter. Is your friend a librivox recorder?

I'm happy to say my friend is likely to record the single 2-line excerpt with voice on p. 28 of the text. He might sign up to volunteer in other ways, since he knows librivox from long pénible times in hospital listening to us! (not the listening that was pénible) In about a week I hope to have the recording, or he will sign up and send it in himself.

Thanks for your flexibility.
