Barbara:

Hi! Once again, I really enjoyed your reading.

There were just a couple of small things....

The silence at the beginning was about 4.5 seconds (instead of .5-1)

At 15:12; there is a phrase..."for the most part however." For some reason, the word "however" sounds as if it has been clipped in the middle....I tried listening to it through a couple of sets of headphones and speakers....

At 22:26 I heard "than any other." The text is "than we like any other"

At 23:43 I heard "in the division of books." The text is in the subdivision of books"

Handle is one of my favorites (although I am disappointed the author has such sour opinion of Beethoven). :)

Nicely done.

Philip

Thank you Philip. That's very encouraging. I have fixed the errors.

You might be amused to hear a song by the music hall performer our author refers to in reference to Beethoven's theme:

Barbara:

I apologize profusely for my mistyping of Handel.

The sound errors are fixed perfectly. The silence at the beginning needs to be shortened to between one half to one second and then it's there!

I enjoyed the audio clip. When I viewed it, up came some clips from Florrie Ford. (I use take me back to dear old Blighty when I teach the history of The Great War. I bet I can find a way to work this one into my lectures on the 1890s some way. Thanks so much for sharing.

Errr yeah, Carolin, but I misread 5 secs for 0.5 secs. I'm uploading the 0.5 sec file as I type.

Philip, your courses sound interesting - no songs like the old songs...

Hi Carolin,

Just 'Matthew' would be fine, and no blog or website. I know these are proof-listened, but because will be a first for me any constructive feedback on editing, pacing etc would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Carolin,

I'm over-committed at the moment but, as the project is moving slowly, it's probably safe to put my hand up for Section 20 (Written Sketches Part I).
