Yes Kathleen, please do read all eight sections of chapter 10 and state the roman numeral.

Chapter 8 is very well done and I only have one PL note for you
0:11 the end of your intro (from 'recording by' to the end) is very glitchy. I don't know how else to describe it but when you hear it, you'll know what I mean.

Hi Melissa,
Thanks! I'm away from my microphone at the moment - I'll be able to fix it early July. Just wanted to let you know that I saw your notes, and will get it fixed.

I am so sorry I haven't gotten to my section yet. I will make time to do it this week, if all goes well. if not, next week for sure.

and here it is finally:

57:19

I noticed that the roman numerals in this section seem to skip straight from IV to VI, with no V in the middle. I read what the text had, but just wanted to mention that in case it stands out to anyone else.

I've checked the scan at Archive and there is no V there, so it looks like only a printing glitch.

Chapter 9 is very well done, but I do have a few notes.
26:22 there is a pause that seems unnatural, though it is only about one second long.
54:10 there is a missed portion: "The following day was Saturday. It rained--a succession of thunderstorms. The morning and the evening performances produced together sixty-eight pounds."
Finally, the sound is too low. It is currently at 81.5dB and we aim for 86-92dB. If you can amplify the recording by about 7dB, the recording will be in the "sweet spot" for sound.
Very well read. Please make these changes and upload the file again with the same name and the new duration.

Chapter 9:
All the previous PL notes have been fixed, but now I can hear another recording in the background. It sounds like your one minute test and it occurs from about 0:00 to 0:40

Chapter 10:
There are a few repeats during Chapter 10
6:48 "a pane of glass"
16:25 "suddenly Rentoul smiles"
17:49 "I woke up this morning"
22:05 just the words "Is that" are repeated
Finally, this is not a PL note, but at certain points in the recording I can hear where you re-recorded something (the sound changes). You don't need to fix it for this recording, but for next time try to re-record things in the same location and with the same set-up.

Very well done for both of you. Please fix these things and re-upload with the same name and new duration

how strange! I'll look into this and hopefully it'll be easy to fix. I did record this with a new mic set-up, so maybe I left the test track in there and it just needs to be muted before I export...

Chapter 9:
I hate to tell you this again, but your sound is at 81.5 again. Please amplify it again by about 7dB and everything will be good.
Everything else right now is great.
