I was listening to chapter 1 part two and it ended with

The irresistible economy of nature, which cannot be amended till it is first studied and obeyed. In some departments it has the character of fate;

it should have ended with
I have now described the fundamental condition of the Positive Synthesis.

five and a half paragraphs later.

I marked it see pl notes.

Hi - I don't know if this is the right place to post. I'm completely new to Librivox and registered yesterday. I'm interested in making a contribution to the group recording of the book, Positivism by Auguste Comte. I created my 1 minute test file this morning but the system would not allow me to upload it using the system uploader. Even though I'm logged in successfully, when I click the link for the uploader (on the Positivism page) I m prompted to login again. When I try, the form is re-presented with blank fields. I've tried logging out and back in again the same thing happens. I am retrieving the book specifics page using the search facility on the New Projects forum page.

I'm using a mac and Google Chrome browser. Any help would be appreciated (if it's to redirect me to someone or someplace else for help with this). Thanks. Greg

Hi Greg. I'm Book Coordinator for this project.

You can just choose a chapter and read it and that will be your test.

Craig

You are welcome to choose any of the open sections. Directions are on the first page 7-9 -

Hi Craig
Thanks for your quick reply. I'll wait for Amy to post about the glitch. I'd like to do part of chapter 2, but I realise I need the test file verifying first. When it's sorted I'll submit the request. Thanks for your help. Greg :D

Hi Craig. Test file has been flagged ok, so I'm ready to book a text block, please.

Chapter 2 The Social Aspect Of Positivism, As Shown By Its Connexion With The General Revolutionary Movement Of Western Europe Part 2
Section 6.

Thanks
Greg
ps - if it's unhelpful for me to paste in your response (below), please let me know and I won't do it in future. I just can't figure out how else to reply. Put it down to my age.

Hi grego :D Pasting my post is fine. I'll put you down for section six but the system wants to know which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.
