Prowling about Panama by George A. Miller (1868 - 1961)

Volunteers outside the USA: George A. Miller died in 1961. This person's work may still be protected by copyright in countries where copyright duration is determined by the author's death date. In Europe this is 70 years; in Canada it is 50 years; and in Australia it is 70 years for authors who died after 1955.

This project is now complete! All files can be downloaded from the catalog page:
https://librivox.org/prowling-about-panama-by-george-a-miller/

This book is about the author's adventures and prowling about on the isthmus of Panama in the early 20th century, a fledgling nation at that time, having recently declared sovereignty and become its own country. (Summary by Jason In Panama)

Or I'm trying to get away from my assigned reading... ;)

ETA:
Ok, here is your MW. You don't have to fill in the ID3 tags (they are automatically populated when I catalog the finished project). Ah, and if you don't have a DPL lined up, let's put a tilde ~ into the subject line of the topic, so prospective prooflisteners know to come by :)

Thanks Dave! I don't know how to put you in, but I'm sure that Katherine will do it, and then we move to going solo. It will be a few days most likely before I get the first chapter up, got to clean up some old reads first.

Yes, Kathrine will add me to the project. You though can edit your first post to remove the ~ from before the book title.

Splendid, welcome Dave! I removed the ~ -- and now I'll just move us, too, while I remember. Hang on tight while we fly to Going Solo

FYI, in working on the author database, I found that George Miller's death date is 1961. Fortunately, Panama is a Life+50 country, so if you actually are in Panama (as per the credit given in the summary), you're OK to record this, since it entered Panamanian PD Jan 1, 2012.
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart
Humor: My Lady Nicotine

I finally started this one! I hope to put in at least a few chapters each week until it is done, interspersed with my other projects.
