just to be clear, the numbers of the subsections are generally required, but if you now have recorded all three chapters without those, thats fine. in that case, you need only tweak the silences at the beginning and end of the recording. thanks for making such a nice start to this project

This is a rather enjoyable read. I'm still working on editing my first section.
Question: each chapter has the sections. How should I denote the sections with speech?

just say "one", "two" etc where they occur. leave a tiny pause (not too long) to indicate the break, and you are all set

This might be a silly question, but in the Arnaux story there is a part where the author refers to New Jersey as N.J. Should I say New Jersey or N.J.?

This is my first time reading, so I just want to be sure I get it right.

in a recording, reading the ful thing, such as new jersey for nj, et cetera for etc, and such like sounds a lot better to the listener. So please do read it as new jersey, thanks!

The only issue that remains on the first two, and is consistent on the third is that we need no more than 1 second of silence at the beginning of the file. Currently there are 5 seconds. If you could edit 4 seconds out of the beginning and reupload, we'll be all set!
