Hello :)

May I claim section 29?

This will be my first attempt to read an English text and since English is not my first language I would like to find out whether my readings will be good enough at all. I love Wilkie Collins, so I would be happy to be part of this project, if I'll get a "go".

Wonderful, thank you! :D

As for a German Collins project, I'm all for it! I'm not that familiar with the procedures yet but if there's anything I can do please let me know.

Yes, I found it :D Thank you.

Here is Section 29. Please let me know whether my reading is acceptable for the English community or if it sounds too "un-English". Also, I used the French pronunciation for "Gabriel", I hope that's okay.

Kathrine - thank you so much for your kind words, I'm very glad you liked it! :D

Carolin - may I be so bold then and claim the remaining sections of this story (sections 30 through 34), or should this be done one by one?
