I've added the sections to the MW and PL'd the first one:

1:54 - need to say "End of preface" or "End of section 0"

About 11 seconds of silence at end; only needs 5. (I show total recording of 2:05; you marked it as 1:59. I wonder where the discrepancy is.)

Section 1: about 12 seconds of silence at the end. Needs only 5.

Section 2:

0:00 Should be "Section #2 of Discovery and Exploration of the Mississippi Valley, by John Gilmary Shea. This LibriVox recording is in the Public Domain." (You said "Section #2 of [the chapter title, not the book title]" and omitted the author and LV disclaimer.)

0:06 - after disclaimer, you're missing the first paragraph of the section, which starts with "The entrance of some missionaries into New Mexico...". Your recording starts with "A work published in 1630"

2:29-2:41 - "Within 10 years of their 2nd arrival, they had completed the examination of the country..." repeated at 2:41. This whole portion can be removed.

About 11 seconds of silence at the end. Only needs 5.

Nicely read! I'm enjoying this. :)

Converting this back into a group project. I edited section 1, as it was an easy edit. Laurence, will you be able to do the edits on sections 0 and 2?

Tricia,

May I read 17-20? There is a Hennepin canal near my home town and it would be interesting to know the history of the man it was named for.

May I have 7? I may decide to claim more later on, though.

Tricia, this project shows up as a solo on the catalog, I think that must have been missed when you switched this from group to solo. :)

Well, lookie there! You're right! Wasn't it you that noticed that some recently cataloged project (a DR) was in as a solo?

Yes, sometimes I look at reader's pages and check out the solo area. And if I see a group project or DR there, I report it in error reports (if it's completed), or on the project thread (if not). I looked on mine and saw this as solo, and thought that when this was converted back to group that might have been missed. :)
