Ticket No. "9672", by Jules Verne (1828 - 1905), translated by Laura E. Kendall

This project is complete and all audio files can be found in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/ticket-no-9672-by-jules-verne/
One of the forgotten novels by adventure science fiction writer, Jules Verne, "Ticket No. 9672" (also known as "The lottery ticket") is less of the science and more of the fiction, with a touch of romance and a dose of travelling and scenery description.
Hulda and her mother, Dame Hansen, reside in a Norwegian inn, awaiting the return of Hulda's betrothed, but when his ship is lost at sea, all they find is a cryptic message in a bottle, or rather a lottery ticket!
Circumstances and a series of coincidences lead to a resolution, but will it be a happy one? (Summary by Rapunzelina)
